A beautiful hotel. Very luxurious. While staying we dined in and I had the penne primavera and that was not far from tasty at all. It tasted like a microwaved meal and over cooked. However my partner had the steak and we shared a cheesy garlic bread which were deliciously cooked. He had a mojito and I had a strawberry daiquiri which was fantastic. Best cocktails I’ve had in a long time. The hospitality was fantastic, a young woman named Rhea served us and she was lovely. The hotel room was very spacious and comfortable the pillows very comfortable and fig and figoea soap was great. We ordered a tart via room service around 11:30pm and it was delicious however the man that delivered it was quite rude and abrupt with me signing it off.

Visited from the UK for 4 nights over Easter. Fabulous hotel, made us feel welcome right away and nothing was too much trouble. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay. The rooms were spotless and cleaned every day and bed turned down every evening. The cleaners do a brilliant job, making sure everything is well stocked in our room. Lovely big rooms with comfy beds and pillows and a great view of the Swan River. Tea and coffee and complimentary soft drinks. Fabulous bathroom with a great shower. Plentiful breakfast with everything you could think of, something for everyone, really set you up for the day. As we had a Club room tasty tapas and drinks were included in the restaurant upstairs with river views. Very nice too. The hotel is in a great location with access to shopping, bars and restaurants and the river for boat trips. Loved our stay at the Duxton and thanks to Thijs and all the staff for leaving us with happy memories 😊 Linda + Alex

I stayed here with my two daughters, and two other mums and their daughters for the Pink concert. I had called numerous times to make sure we were staying next to each other and to discuss staying an extra night which was triple he cost? Every time I called I got disconnected. We had asked to stay next to each other when we booked 6 months before. They had us on seperate floors when we checked in. The check in process what long and tedious. The buffet breakfast was great but $50 per person, which was way over priced. Parking was also not included. Not sure if I'll be back.

Excellence Once Again at the Duxton Hotel

Thanks again to Duxton Hotel's Riaz and his wonderful staff who make each of my stays a brilliant experience. I stay at the Duxton on average six times a year, for a week at a time, on business. I stay here for several reasons. 1. They make my stay personable. Every staff member, from valet parking, to the door, to the reception, the restaurant, etc, are welcoming and friendly. A special mention for the Managing Director, Riaz and Jervis in the lobby, and all of their colleagues, Thank You. The welcome notes, expressions of appreciation for loyalty, nice conversations, great service - all of these make for an excellent experience. 2. The location. Steps from the Swan River (for my morning 10km run) and across the road from one of my favourite Indian restaurants, Balti; the central location and ease of access to anywhere in the city. 3. The rooms, the lobbies, the lifts, the restaurant, the furnishings - all exude warmth and class. 4. The pillows are magnificent, making for a sound sleep. And this is important when you're away from home. 5. Seemingly small details like the free bottled water in your room every day, count - these are the finer details often overlooked in other hotels. Like any establishment, they are not perfect and a few niggles arise from time to time, but these get resolved. So, if you're ever in Perth wondering where to stay, read my review and do yourself a favour.

Clean hotel with excellent location . Walking distance from a few tourist attractions. . Parking is chargaeble though and too expensive. So check it out before booking. No other parking available in the hotel . For cheaper options will have to park elsewhere.
